ARTICLES OF ISLAMIC FAITH

There are six articles of Islamic faith that are stated in the following statement called elaborated faith.
“I believe in Allah (SWT), in His Angels, in His books, in His messenger, in the Day of Judgment, in the destiny being from Allah (SWT) both beneficial and harmful and in the life after death.”
These six articles of faith are also stated in various verses of Holy Quran and in various prophetic traditions.

“whosoever denies Allah (SWT) ,His Angels ,His books , His messengers and the Last Day has indeed gone very far in error”.
(AL-NISA:36)

THE SIX ARTICLES OF FAITH ARE AS FOLLOWS:

(1)BELIEF IN ALLAH (SWT):
To ratify the existence and oneness of Allah (SWT) in His very being, in His attributes, in His doings and in His rights.


(2)BELIEF IN ANGELS:
To ratify the existence of angels, a creation of Allah (SWT) who always perform the assigned functions in accordance to the instructions given to them.


(3)BELIEF IN HOLY BOOKS:
To ratify the revelation of the instruction of Allah (SWT) in the form of books and scriptures as revealed guidance for good of mankind in this world and in the hereafter.

(4)BELIEF IN PROPHETS:
To ratify that Allah (SWT) has chosen messengers and Prophets from the human to convey the divine instruction and to guide mankind.


(5)BELIEF IN THE DAY OF JUDGMANT:
To ratify the existence of a life in another world after end of this world for the accountability. Judgment and reward of the performance in this world.


(6)BELIEF IN DESTINY:
To ratify the existence of a pre-recording based on the knowledge of Allah (SWT) of all the events concerning creations.
